Design Group has partnered with a dynamic manufacturing company to assist them in their search for an Architect.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

Designing and supervising the construction modular structures

  • Managing architectural aspects of projects, including establishing and maintaining project requirements, timelines and budgets
  • Working closely with structural, mechanical, electrical and environmental disciplines
  • Overseeing the production of drawings, schedules and tender documents
  • Mentoring colleagues and providing advice on architectural issues
  • Preparing cost estimates, tender applications and presentations.

 

We are looking for candidates with a B. Sc. in Architecture and a Professional registration in Canada with 10+ years of experience in the architectural field.

  • Exposure to residential and/or multi family unit projects required along with 5 plus years of experience in other areas
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership capability with experience in planning, programming, architectural design and development, contract documents and administration.
  • Management, mentoring and leadership of the technical and design staff including design and technical direction, project management and support of other offices as required.
  • Experience with Building Codes and bylaws.

Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect for a 6 month engagement.
Deliverables include:
·         Enterprise Architecture road maps, strategies, and solutions that provide reduced overall technology complexity and increased cost efficiency.
·         Align enterprise architecture to SOA architecture design principles and framework.
·         Provide architecture consultation and oversight for IT Project teams to conform to enterprise architecture standards, using framework components, standards, patterns, and best practices.
·         Lead in building a consolidated enterprise-level view of business applications and their integration architecture.
·         Act as an advocate for ensuring that the infrastructure, data, and application architecture aligns with the overall enterprise architecture goals.
