The Federal investor immigration program is currently accepting applications.  To apply under this category, you must meet the following requirements :-

1. Have a legally accumulated net-worth exceeding Canadian $1.6 million.   The sum total of all your assets must be greater than Canadian $1,600,000.
2. Have 3 or more years of business management experience.
3. Be able to deposit C$800,000 with the Government of Canada.  This deposit is made for a fixed period of five years.  At the end of 5 years, the entire amount is refunded back to you.  There is no interest paid on this deposit.
